Welcome to Winter! Maintaining Vitality Through Herbs and Restorative Yoga
Nancy Spencer and Heidi Schmidt-Laliberte are collaborating to offer a special workshop. Dance with nature in a cup of tea, diffuse your home or yoga mat with healing oils and resins and experience the soothing effects of restorative yoga to refresh your nervous system support the adrenals and immune system.
Heidi will present a workshop of the use of herbs and essential oils and resins that support health and vitality during the holidays and approaching winter months. Following Heidi’s presentation, Nancy will guide participants through a restorative yoga. Release tension from your body, breathe more deeply, and enter a comfortable state of being. Through supported poses, using bolsters and blankets, the body is able to release tension, rejuvenate, and build immunities. Restorative yoga has a direct effect on the nervous system and brain, leaving you feeling relaxed, restored, and rejuvenated.
Then for after your yoga session, Heidi will have some teas to taste: Yogi tea, Bouquet of Life Soup Stock, Altitude Attitude and Crispy kelp for essential minerals to taste along with some Berry blast to nibble on which is high in vitamin c and bioflavanoids , antioxidants.
