Holly, Sumac, Mountain Ash, Cedar, Pine, Hemlock... cold weather may have arrived in Vermont, but the woods are still colorful with evergreens and berries. Join South Hero Land Trust on Saturday, to learn more about these important trees and shrubs and the role they play in our Island landscape. Local naturalist Chuck Hulse will lead SHLT’s final Naturalist Walk of the year. Celebrate a year of naturalist explorations, and learn about the most colorful parts of the winter landscape, evergreens and berries. What role do they play in animal’s lives?
