Come join us for the Family Literacy Center’s annual art show and reception taking place on Tuesday, December 6th, 12:00-1:00, at the Brook Street School in Barre. Family Literacy Center students and Kim Desjardins, resident artist, will be exhibiting works created through an artists in schools collaboration with the Vermont Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts. Consider taking the time to support our pregnant and parenting high school students and enjoy some food, a slideshow and of course appreciate their amazing creations. It is powerful to have their efforts and work be valued and appreciated by the supportive people in their lives and the wider community. Also exhibited will be works created by the toddler and preschool age artists of the Learning Together Center. We hope to see you there!
