The Trust for Public Land will be providing a public presentation on an exciting conservation project, the Hunger Mtn. Headwaters conservation project, which as the name implies is in our own backyard. TPL and Stowe Land Trust are seeking private and federal funding to conserve more than 2,000-acres of scenic land on Mount Hunger and White Rocks that is for sale. This land includes the trail head and much of the trail up Hunger Mtn. and White Rocks. Other isolated tracts in Stowe, including the Moss Glenn Falls area, are also being wrapped into this effort.
If you are interested in this project and would like to learn more, please join the Trust for Public Land this coming Tuesday, the 29th at7:00 p.m. at the Worcester Town Hall.
Warm Wishes,
Lee
