I'm a Benefactor member of the US Chess Federation, and general manager of Chess Club of Addison County. On Saturday, December 3, I'll be directing a chess tournament for amateurs, at the Middlebury Recreation Center, 154 Creek Road. I invite you to visit the tournament. It is open to all USCF members. Advance entry fees range from $15 to $30. At-door registration will end around 9:40 a.m. Round 1 will start at 10:10 a.m.; other rounds will start at 11:30, 1:30, 3:00, 4:30 and 6:00.
