Burlington residents!

On October 21 the City Council will discuss new gun control laws in Burlington. The council will decide whether to include an item on the March ballot that would restrict civil liberties.

Under Vermont state law, the City Council has no authority to regulate the possession or ownership of firearms.

Come to the meeting to voice opposition for these measures and ask the City Council to focus on running the city, not hot button state and federal issues where the Council has no authority.
