The next meeting of the Northfield and Williamstown Schools Merger Study Committee will be held on November 30th starting at 6:00 pm at the Williamstown Middle and High School Library. The focus of the meeting will be to review the latest draft of the Merger Study Report. This will possibly be the last formal meeting of the committee with a vote on the report expected.

If the committee votes to accept the report, it will be forwarded to the Vermont Agency of Education for their review and then on to the State Board of Education for a vote at their January Meeting. Between the January State Board meeting and Northfield and Williamstown Town Meetings, when a vote on the merger will likely take place, the committee will be holding public forums to present the specifics of the merger and to answer questions. Announcements of the forum dates and times will be posted on various sites including Front Porch Forum.
