Embracing a Mad River: Community Resilience Forum & Celebration
Wednesday, December 7, 5:30-7:30 PM. Valley Night at the Big Picture Theater. Come for the forum and stay for live music and drink specials! http://www.ridgetoriver.org/

You are invited to celebrate the Mad River Valley’s progress toward resilience since Irene and learn about critical actions for building a stronger future. Join us for refreshments and a cash bar, stories of success, and a “marketplace” with information and resources to help homeowners and businesses protect their property, safety, and the health of our watershed. Brought to you by the Ridge to River initiative, Friends of the Mad River, and the Mad River Valley Planning District.

The Ridge to River initiative is a coalition of officials and community members from all five towns in the Mad River Valley, working together to build a stronger and more resilient watershed. We’re hosting this valley-wide resilience forum and celebration in December, and also looking for community members to respond to a survey that will help us plan our work. More info at http://www.ridgetoriver.org/. Check out the Facebook Event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/190440401415063/.

Hope to see you there!

And, take our survey and win a cash prize!
We need YOUR thoughts and experiences to help us build a stronger, healthier and more resilient Mad River Valley! Respondents will be entered to win one $50 and three $20 cash prizes. Take the survey online at http://www.ridgetoriver.org/, or get a paper copy at libraries and town offices in the Mad River Valley.
