Just a reminder to anyone who would like to participate in the food drive to help local families in need so the may enjoy a nice Thanksgiving Dinner. The Greater Vergennes Rotary and Lions Clubs will be outside the entrance of Shaw's Thursday from 4 to 8pm, Friday from 4 to 8pm and Saturday 8AM to Noon collecting food for local families. We will provide you with a list of suggested items that you may shop for and drop off to us on your way out of the store. We will then deliver the items you have donated to the Food Shelf on Saturday morning with a parade from the City Park down to the So. Water St. food shelf at NOON. All are welcome to participate. Thank you for helping families in this community who need a helping hand.
