Cabot Community Engagement Group Gathering Nov. 19

Past event
Nov 19, 2016, 5 to 7 PM

Let our Cabot students present to you their learning projects at the next Cabot Community Engagement Gathering.

Saturday, November 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the CSPAC building.

Join us for student-led presentations, as well as a conversation with our school librarian and principal, then stay and enjoy a homemade soup and sandwich-wrap dinner. Hot chocolate treats and supervised activities in the cafeteria will help occupy the little kids during presentations and discussion.

* High school students and teacher Michael Hendrix will talk about their work in Maker’s Science, as well as their upcoming work with 3-D printing.

* Third and fourth graders will elaborate on their social and geographic explorations in “Road Trip America”.

* Our school librarian, Nene Riley will talk about community building and upcoming projects in connection with Vermont Rural Partnership.

* Principal, Dave Schilling will close with a conversation about Assessment Data.

Past gatherings have proved to be interesting with slide shows, discussion and Q&A. You may be surprised by what you can learn on a Saturday night while supporting the learning experiences of our Cabot students. Go ahead and RSVP at www.cabotschoolcommunity.org on the “Event” page, and while you’re there, browse the website for other exciting learning experiences taking place at the school.
