The Summit School “Sampler” is a day-long, open house event, for the community to see first-hand just what it is that the Summit School of Traditional Music and Culture does.
The Daytime Program is family-oriented, free and open to the public, and will feature a variety of performances, showcases, and workshops highlighting our on-going classes and collaborations throughout Central Vermont. Check out the debut of our Instrument Petting Zoo!
The Evening Program will consist of a dinner, dance, and fundraising launch for our annual “Spice on Snow” mid-winter festival. A wholesome meal (“Winner-Winner Chicken Dinner” – with a veggie option) will be provided by three local chefs. Each evening’s ticket purchased will be entered into our raffle with numerous prizes. Vermont’s own Yankee Chank will play Cajun and Zydeco music for our dance, and a cash bar will run by The Skinny Pancake.
A limited number of dinner tickets will be sold. We encourage people to purchase their tickets in advance. All tickets will be entered into our “Winner-Winner Chicken Dinner” raffle.
