On Monday, November 14 at 6:30 pm at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library, there will be a facilitated discussion of "Call Me By Your Name." This novel, by Andre Aciman, explores the relationship between a teenage boy (Elio) and an older, male house guest (Oliver) as they spend the summer together on the Italian Riviera. Elio is infatuated with Oliver but is the attraction mutual? Strong emotions reign with the beauty of the sun and the sea as the back drop.
This is the latest discussion in the quarterly LGBT series co-sponsored by the Unitarian Church of Montpelier and the library. All are welcome. As the discussion will cover broad themes, there is no need to read the book to attend.
