Need a good laugh? Thursday was opening night for the Fall Play "Spectaculathon" by Don Zolidis at Harwood Union H.S. Act 1 was amusing and included audience participation, but Act 2 had moments when it seemed as if Robert Ostler was channeling Robin Williams and/or Pip from the movie Enchanted. The audience was roaring and the other characters on stage get credit for doing their best to not laugh along with us. Director Ruth Ann and the whole cast of characters and crew get kudos for such a high energy undertaking based on the stories by the Brothers Grimm with modern adult commentary. I'd leave younger children at home for this one. It's Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 pm at the Harwood Union H.S. theater. Adult tickets are $7. Students pay less.
