Back by popular demand! Join renowned West African drum and dance teacher Seny Daffe from Guinea, to drum and dance in traditional style!

Sunday, November 13 from 10AM - 12PM at the Zenbarn Studio: 179 Guptil Road in Waterbury Center. Event is $16 - come for one, or stay for both! 10 -11 AM Drum, 11 AM - 12 PM Dance. Kids free! or offer suggested donation $10.

This family-friendly gathering welcomes all levels to participate in an energetic union of West African music, dance and oral tradition. Learn traditional djembe rhthyms and stay to drum for the dance class. Participants will learn the rich history of traditional dances, accompanied with live djembe and dundun drumming. Dance starts with a thorough warm up, followed by a sequence of movement across the floor.
