In welcoming people, there might be questions left unanswered in our mind. Please join Green Mountain College in a lecture-based discussion on how to fully embrace diversity and build a sustainable and resilient community!

Is religion the root of the world's conflicts? Why religion and violence are so closely linked?
Led by professors Steven Fesmire & Natalie Coe

How does it feel being a Muslim first arriving in the U.S.?
Led by first-year student Shamim Amiri from Afghanistan and senior student Marjuk Ahmad from Bangladesh

Will bringing in new people take away healthcare and educational opportunities, cut down jobs, put burden on tax system? How to alleviate the political divisiveness in Rutland on the issue of Syrian refugee resettlement?
Led by professors Laird Christensen and Steven Fesmire

Where: East Room, Withey Hall, Green Mountain College, Poultney
