Do You Work with Families Struggling with Addiction?

Bennington County Head Start Family Community Partnership presents a seminar for individuals who work with families struggling with addiction.
United Counseling Service will host “Connecting the Dots: Prevention, Treatment, Recovery and Families Seminar” on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 12-1:30 pm at their home office in Bennington.

The Bennington County Head Start Family Community Partnership will provide an opportunity for attendees to understand more about local prevention, treatment and recovery efforts. Presenters will lead a discussion on how individuals who work with families can best support addiction struggles and recovery. Presenters include Nissa Walke, PHD, Substance Abuse Prevention Consultant from the Department of Health, Paul DiIonno, Director of Outpatient and Substance Abuse Services from United Counseling Service and Ken Sigsbury, Board Member from Turning Point Center of Bennington.

United Counseling Service is a private non-profit agency that provides outpatient counseling and substance abuse services, emergency mental health services, extensive rehabilitation services, home and school-based services, employment services for people recovering from mental illness or with developmental disabilities and the nationally recognized Head Start program.
