Loving What Is: The Work of Byron Katie Nov. 12

Past event
Nov 12, 2016, 2 to 4 PM

I will present a workshop on November 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. called "Loving What Is: An Introduction to The Work of Byron Katie" at the Plainfield Community Center, 153 Main Street (above the Co-op) in Plainfield. This event is by donation. For those who want more, an optional bonus one-hour segment will follow the main workshop.

The Work is a simple yet powerful way of self-inquiry that has helped thousands of people to lead happier and more peaceful lives. In its most basic form, The Work consists of four questions and something called turnarounds. For me, The Work has been a trusted friend to whom I can always turn, to deal with stressful thoughts of any kind.

There you can choose from over 200 video clips of Byron Katie facilitating people in doing The Work on a wide variety of issues. Also, the bestselling book "Loving What Is," is highly recommended as it's an excellent sourcebook on how to do The Work.
