Hello Community of Montpelier!

I am privileged to make this important announcement on behalf of the 3rd grade team of teachers at Union Elementary School! This Friday is the annual Veterans Day Parade, and we would love for you to come support and enjoy the salute to our veterans. It's a long-standing tradition for the 3rd grade students at Union Elementary to highlight a veteran in their life by marching with a poster they created. The 3rd graders are proud of their family and friends who are veterans, and would appreciate your attendance! Students at Union have also been learning important patriotic songs, which they will sing as they march. Show your appreciation for veterans by singing along and cheering for our Montpelier youth!

The parade starts at 10:00 and will march down Main and State Street, ending at Montpelier High School with a memorial service. We hope to see you there!
