This Wednesday - Nov. 9th - 6:30 p.m. the Montpelier City Council will be holding it's regular meeting at city hall. On the agenda is "16-318. An opportunity for the public to address the Council regarding the City Manager’s contract."
An IMPORTANT point to remember - there has not been a formally and properly warned vote on this issue. THIS IS NOT A DONE DEAL!! Community input is imperative.
Please take the time to come to this meeting and express your views on the decision (not voted yet) to not renew the contract of our City Manager Bill Fraser. The decision to not renew was arrived at during some questionably legal processes of meeting through phone calls and emails without the properly warned "meetings" and the non-inclusion of half of the city council members.
