Main Street Arts@ St Andrew's presents "Stained Glass Bluegrass".
Bob Amos & Catamount Crossing will present a special concert of all gospel and inspirational music at St. Andrew's Church in St. Johnsbury on Saturday evening November 5th at 7:30 p.m..
From 1988-2003 Bob Amos was the frontman, lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for the internationally acclaimed award-winning band Front Range.
In 1995, Bob was awarded the International Bluegrass Music Association's Gospel Recording of the Year for his song "One Beautiful Day", which he had recorded Front Range.
Bob’s current Vermont based band, Bob Amos & Catamount Crossing, has been recognized as one of the finest bluegrass bands in New England, featuring stellar vocals, rock-solid instrumentation, Bob’s top notch original material as well as unique arrangements of some bluegrass classics. Bob’s recent bluegrass CD Sunrise Blues was awarded “Vermont Traditional Album of the Year” by the Rutland Times Argus (Tammie Awards). Bob Amos & Catamount Crossing band members include Bob on banjo and vocals, Bob’s daughter Sarah Amos on vocals, Freeman Corey on fiddle, Steve Wright on guitar and vocals, Gary Darling on mandolin and Chris Cruger on bass.
Main Street Arts @ St. Andrew's is an outreach ministry of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Our mission is to contribute to and broaden the cultural life of the St. Johnsbury area by bringing live music to the community.
