I'd like to invite you all to join the Champlain Valley Quilt Guild at our annual quilt show which is being held this Saturday, 10/19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 10/20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fieldhouse located at the Shelburne Athletic Club. Several of your neighbors have quilts in the show and would love to share them with you. Along with over 100 quilts on display, there are special exhibits for Quilts of Valor (quilts given to our men and women in the military) as well as Friendship quilts. If you don't know what they are, join us and you'll enjoy viewing well over 20 Friendship quilts. We are also honoring one of our own, Anne Standish, who is an outstanding art quilter. Additionally, there are about a dozen vendors, a craft table where you can purchase beautiful handmade items (think holiday gifts!!), as well as a basket raffle and our annual quilt raffle. This year's raffle quilt is the most colorful yet! Food and assorted beverages are also available. Admission is only $6; a real deal for all that is being offered.
