Burdett Commons of Arlington is having a Veterans Day Scholarship Fundraiser Dinner at Sunderland Elementary School on November 11, 2016. Sunderland Elementary School is located at 98 Bear Ridge Rd in Sunderland, VT off of Sunderland Hill Rd. The dinner will take place from 5-7pm with doors opening at 4:30 pm. There will be several delicious crock pot meals to enjoy such as chili, corn chowder, beef stew, goulash, butternut squash soup, and more. There will also be salads, breads, and desserts. We have options for everyone including gluten free and vegetarian. There will also be a red, white, and blue cake to honor any veterans that we have in attendance during the dinner. This event is to raise money for a scholarship fund for school vacation camps that we offer to local children of Sunderland, Sandgate, and Arlington.
