There are six turkeys up for grabs this Sunday. All it takes is a lucky poker hand and a walk around Grand Isle's Rec Park trail a total of three times. (2.4 miles) Choose cards along the way, meander through the fallen leaves, stroll along the magnificent bridge constructed this past summer and look for the multi-colored bird houses. Wear your bright clothing and join in at the finish for some turkey dogs and veggie burgers while we await the results of the poker hands. There is no charge for this event. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed the entire time.
