Nonviolence 101

Past event
Nov 3, 2016, 6 to 8 PM

Hey neighbors,

The Peace & Justice Center is offering one of my favorite workshops - Nonviolent Activism 101. It includes an overview of how power and oppression work to perpetuate violence and how we can actively engage to dismantle these systems. It also goes over how to engage in conflict to increase connections for personal relationships as well as social movements.

It's a two-part workshop this Thursday, November 3, 6:00-8:00 and again next Thursday, November 10, same time at MMU in Jericho. More information can be found here: http://www.pjcvt.org/join-nonviolence-activism-101-at-mmu-in-jericho/ or call Kyle at PJC 863-2345 x6.

Participants will look at how active nonviolent strategy can be used to address both systems of oppression and interpersonal conflict. It is relevant to all!
