It's that time of year again- on December 3rd the schools, churches and libraries in the five Champlain Islands' Towns are having fund-raising events all joined together under the name of the Islands Holiday Hop. We will be compiling all of these on a map to help visitors “Hop” from one location to another.

The Hop is being advertised in Seven Days, The Messenger, WOKO, WhoFish and CAX will have it on their ‘what to do this weekend’ segment on the morning show on Dec. 3rd. There will be additional publicity on electronic bulletin boards and local publications as we move closer to the date.

In order to do the map accurately, I need you to contact me with a brief listing on what you are doing and your hours. If your business is open and you want to run a special for the day, please let me know so it will also be listed. The ads say that the maps will be available through email and that hard copies will be available at the Senior Center in Alburg and the Farmer’s market in South Hero.
