Rutland Welcomes will be hosting another Donation Drive on Saturday, November 19th from 10 AM-2 PM. This donation drive is for FURNITURE ONLY. Please see below for details on what items will be accepted.
The drive will be held in the parking lot of CCV Rutland, located at 60 West Street. The items will be screened for allergens and bedbugs in the parking lot. Any items that are accepted will then be transported to a storage area.
We encourage prospective donors to sign up for a 10 minute time slot for dropping off their goods on the day of the drive. You can sign up for a time by emailing Barb Richter at brichter08@gmail.com or by calling the Donations hotline at 802-342-4658. In your message, please be sure to include your name and contact information along with a description of the item(s) you would like to donate.
If you would like to help the day of the drive, there is a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, November 16th from 6-7 PM at the Rutland United Methodist Church, 71 Williams Street.
NEEDED ITEMS (these are the only things still required - if it isn't on the list, the item can't be accepted): Dining Tables with Chairs; Sofas, Couches and Futons (no sleeper sofas); Arm Chairs; Lamps; Coffee Tables; Night Stands; Dressers; Bookcases.
