Join us for a very special storytime tomorrow, as the Lamoille County Nature Center will present a program on Busy Beavers from it's Junior Naturalist Series! Stacey Waterman will lead the way as we take a “peek” into a beaver lodge to learn how beavers prepare for and survive the long cold winter, and learn of other environmental adaptations. We’ll also explore the beaver’s role as “nature’s best engineers” and discuss how their work affects the landscape. Finally we will build a model beaver dam using beaver know-how! It is sure to be a spectacular storytime- so be sure to join us at 10am Wednesday morning!
