Fundamentals of Mediation: Nov 15 & 17, T&TH 5-7 p.m. (4 hrs); $75
Learn the basic skills of a mediator to help move parties in your workplace from conflict to collaboration. Students will explore their own ideas of conflict, understand the mediation process and the role of the mediator, and will practice using basic mediation tools.
This course is facilitated by Brian Lafferty, a retired attorney and administrative law judge who has also worked with at-risk youth in public and private schools and juvenile detention facilities for many years. He brings his wealth of experience handling conflict to facilitate this workshop.
