Actors' Repertory Theatre will present "Fools", by Neil Simon, opening on Thursday, November 3 at 7:30 PM, at the Brick Box, next to the Paramount Theatre on Center Street, Rutland. "Fools" is a very funny folk tale, set in a small village in Russia in 1890. The village has been cursed with stupidity for 200 years. Many teachers have tried and failed to educate the townspeople. A new teacher tries to break the curse, even more motivated after he falls in love with the doctor's daughter.

Production dates are Nov. 3-5 and 10-12 at 7:30 PM. There is also a matinee Nov. 6 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are @20 and available at the Paramount box office, 775-0903 or www.Paramountlive.org.
