This week's OLLI talk will be by our own community member Leda Schubert, well known children's book author. But this time Leda will be telling us about a different kind of book--the story of the transatlantic telegraph cable. Leda's research about this ''eighth wonder of the world'' will describe the 10 years of costly and dangerous work, begun back in 1866, and how the world finally had its ''first Internet!''
