Vermont filmmaker Jay Craven will present his new film, Peter and John, at the Vergennes Opera House on Saturday, November 5 at 7pm. Set in 1872 Nantucket, Peter and John tells the story of a young doctor whose life is thrown into turmoil when his younger brother receives word of a strange inheritance. Then, Peter and his brother John fall for the same mysterious young woman who arrives on their island. The film stars Jacqueline Bisset, Christian Coulson (The Hours, Harry Potter), Diane Guerrero (Orange is the New Black), and Emmy winner Gordon Clapp (NYPD Blue, Matewan). Tickets at the door: $12 adults; $10 seniors; free for students.
