Hi neighbors. I would like to invite you to the Lake Champlain Waldorf High School's Open House on Sunday, November 6 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at 122 Bostwick Road, Shelburne (next to Shelburne Museum).

I work at the school and am continually impressed by the quality of the education these students are receiving. Talented faculty bring challenging and highly relevant curriculum to the students. Seniors study marine biology knee deep in the tide pools on Hermit Island in Maine and tenth graders study The Odyssey while paddling the length of Lake Champlain, to name a few of the highlights. College reps are blown away by how engaging, self-aware, and intelligent Waldorf students are. Graduates are prepared for college, and have an incredibly well-rounded knowledge base to set them up for happiness and success on whatever path they choose.

At the High School Open House you'll get to tour the grounds with the seminar-style classrooms, impressive science lab, woodworking, fine and fiber arts rooms, and a beautiful multi-purpose room. Talk with students and parents, check out student work, meet the faculty, and get a chance to ask your questions.
