Dear Neighbors,
Over the next 12 days, there will be a number of house parties and events to hear about, talk about and ask questions about the upcoming ballot items on November 8.
I hope you will join City Councilors and Mayor Weinberger for a Spaghetti Town Hall meeting on Thursday, November 3 at the Fletcher Free Library from 7 - 9 PM. This event is open to the public. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about the City ballot items, including the 10-year Capital Plan and the Burlington Town Center Redevelopment. We will be serving ziti catered by Junior’s Downtown.
Before voting on November 8, I would encourage you to attend a event, whether it be an NPA meeting, house party or other informational event. This is the most effective way to hear all the facts that you need to come to a decision on how you will vote on the local ballot. Please consider this opportunity to directly ask the Mayor questions you may have about these important ballot items that will inform the future of our City.
Thanks so much for your time and consideration of these important initiatives. Please let me know if you have any questions!
My best,
Karen
