Join us on Sunday, October 30, at 1pm as we welcome children's book author Brenda "Grannie" Snow for a very special storytelling presentation and book signing. Snow is the author of the popular ‘Silas’ series, which include Big Ole Striped Silas, Silas Gets a Sister, and Silas and Opal Meet. Snow will visit NCAL for a reading of her new book Silas and Opal’s Shelter Visit, and will be bringing the real Silas with her for the visit. Silas, the cat, was adopted from NCAL many years ago and will be returning to the shelter to visit his friends - just like in the book! All ages are welcome and the event is free of charge.
