The Chittenden County Historical Society and the UVM Dana Medical Library Co-sponsor Canadian author Susan Raby-Dunne in a program called “The Real McCrae: An Intimate Look at the Man Behind the Poem In Flanders Fields” on Monday, Nov. 14 at 2:30pm. Dr. John McCrae taught Pathology at the UVM Medical College prior to WWI. The program will be held in the Larner Classroom, next to Dana Medical Library. The best parking will be at the hospital. Park on or make your way to the 2nd level (Orange) and follow the poppy signs from there. The room is located in the connector between the hospital and the medical school. The speaker’s new McCrae book will be available for sale. There is also a McCrae exhibit inside Dana Medical Library. The program is free.
