Join the Waitsfield Conservation Commission and the Vermont Land Trust to learn about the Scrag Forest Gateway Project and enjoy a guided walk in the 110 acre forest parcel proposed as an addition to Waitsfield's town forest. The public walk will include an orientation to the land, waterfalls, trails and discussion of this important opportunity to improve public access and recreational opportunities in Waitsfield's Scrag Forest. Due to current limited parking at the site, meet at the intersection of Bowen Road and Sherman Road in Waitsfield for a wagon ride into the property. Dress warmly. Donuts and cider served.
