Filmmaker Jay Craven will screen his most recent film, "Peter and John," at the Vergennes Opera House. The film stars Golden Globe winner Jacqueline Bisset (Bullitt, Day for Night), Christian Coulson (The Hours, Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets), Diane Guerrero (Orange is the New Black), and Gordon Clapp (NYPD Blue, Flags of Our Fathers). "Peter and John" is set in post-Civil War Nantucket and it tells the story of a young doctor whose life is thrown into turmoil when his younger brother receives word of a strange inheritance. Then, both brothers fall for the same mysterious young woman who arrives on their island. Complications multiply. Tickets will be available at the door ($12 adults; $10 seniors’ free to students. Director Jay Craven will introduce the film and lead Q & A.
