The Vermont Division of Emergency Management & Homeland Security will host its annual Emergency Preparedness Conference November 4th and 5th at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, VT.

The conference offers trainings, presentations, and demonstrations geared toward assisting responders to better prepare for natural and man-made crisis’ in their communities. The conference will also include information for local and state government officials that will help them navigate their role in disaster response and recovery. This includes sessions on how to secure federal funding for recovery and mitigation.

Full-time or volunteer responders, non-profits, community leaders, and anyone else involved in emergency preparedness or response are invited to the free conference, and can attend for one or both days.
