Past event
Oct 27, 2016, 5:30 to 7 PM

Are you curious about the ballot items Burlington residents will be voting on Nov. 8? Wondering what they mean for walking and biking?

The Burlington Walk-Bike Council's meeting this Thursday, October 27 will be focused on the Burlington ballot items, with an emphasis on how they affect walking and biking issues. Mayor Miro Weinberger will first discuss ballot item #1 on the capital budget (perhaps touching on items 2, 5, and/or 6 as well). There will be time for questions. The Mayor will then discuss items #3 (overlay district zoning change) and #4 (TIF district funding for street improvements downtown). This will be followed by a brief presentation on the same topic by the Coalition for a Livable City. There will be time for questions and comments afterward.

The meeting will be held at Champlain College's Perry Hall Presentation Room, 251 S. Willard St, this Thursday October 27, 2016, 5:30-7 pm. There is plenty of bike parking at the main entrance on the northern end of the building. Car parking is along the street on Maple or S. Willard St. The Perry Hall parking lot is a restricted lot.
