The Mad River Valley Ambulance Service is offering an American Heart Association CPR certification class this Saturday, October 22 at 9 am at the ambulance station on Route 100 in Waitsfield. This 3 hour course will cover adult, child and infant CPR, how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and what to do in a choking emergency. You will receive a two year American Heart Association certification card at the completion of the class. The cost of the course is $15 - the lifesaving skills you learn are priceless. The class is open to anyone over the age of 12. To register, please email cpr@mrvas.org or call 496-8888. Or if it is too late to register, just show up and we will likely be able to accommodate you.
