WES Spelling Team News
We are very excited to announce that WES has been selected to host the VT Principal’s Association
Regional Spelling Bee for the grade 5/6 competition.
The bee will be held next Saturday, October 29, beginning at 10 am sharp. We will be welcoming Green Street School, Barnard Academy, and Halifax Elementary School to our community.
This event is open to the public and Grade 6 students will be providing refreshments as a fundraiser for the annual class trip.
Please join us if you can in support of this year’s team!
The members have been working extremely hard to learn not only the words, but also strategies for success in a live competition.
Team Members are: Haven Miller, Abel Steever, Darrian Henry, Jameson Kennedy, Mikey Wierzbicki, and Anders Lowkes.
