Meditation and Introduction to Qigong

Please join Mountain River Sangha this Sunday from 10:00am - 12:00pm for our regular weekly sitting meditation followed by an introduction to Qigong by guest speaker Rachel Edwards. After a brief introduction to the history and relevance of Qigong and the benefits of combining with sitting meditation, Rachel will lead participants in a series of movements and postures while sharing some of the basic principles of meridian circulation, energy centers, and yin-yang theory from her knowledge and experience as a practitioner of Chinese medicine and Tai Chi Chuan. Mountain River Sangha meets at the Open Sky Studio in Bristol (8B Main Street, above Cubber's Pizza). Mountain River Sangha is a non-denominational open community of practitioners of all experience levels from. We offer programs that support Buddhist and secular mindfulness practice. Beginners are welcome.
