Canaan
It is that special time of year when everyone is thankful for so many odd reasons. The election is almost over, Tom Brady is back, there is now no need to mow that lawn until next year, the kids are back in a routine at school, wood stoves are lit to take the chill out of the house, everyone is celebrating the end of school soccer season and everyone is also looking forward to Christmas holiday music from the top of Mt. Washington on WHOM.
The members of Canaan's Grace Community Church invite you to join them is a truly celebratory feast the first Saturday of November where everyone (friends & neighbors) will be able to sit back and prepare their waistline for their family Thanksgiving at the end of November. This meal will be a show stopper for sure.
The menu includes a garden fresh Spinach Salad with a Cranberry Vinaigrette, Classic white or dark meat Chicken Pies, Grafton Farms Mashed Potatoes and Country Gravy, freshly baked Parmesan Garlic Bread, Maple Glazed Carrots with Cranberries, a Buttery Grafton Farm Butternut Squash, Cranberry, Brown Sugar & bourbon baked Blue Hubbard Squash, Hot Mulled Apple Cider, Fresh Cranberry Punch, and an assortment of yummy home made desserts centered around Cranberries, Apples and Chocolate, freshly brewed Coffee, and a selection of international Teas. Including all tips and taxes this serve yourself feast is for $10 suggested donation per adult and the special kids meal for $1.
There are so many reasons to give thanks this season and all are invited to gather on Sat. Nov. 5th with 3 seatings: 4:25, 5:25 & 6:25 pm. For updated menu additions go to Facebook: GraceCommunityChurchVT
