17th Roland Batten Lecture on Architecture and Design

“Lessons from Detroit: Architecture as an Agent of Change” by Beverly Eichenlaub
Tuesday, OCTOBER 25th at 6:00 pm 301 WILLIAMS HALL UVM

Beverly will present a survey of studies, installations, and proposals as well as a select sampling of work by various architects and designers working in the Detroit area who, in their own ways, are engaging with the soul-searching question of what it means to be an architect in a community of distress.

The ROLAND BATTEN FUND and lecture series was founded in 1999 in memory of Shelburne based Architect and planning board member Roland Batten.The RBA Fund was established to fund activities designed to enhance the role of architecture and design in our society.
