Vermonter & Founder of the Malayaka House orphanage in Uganda, Robert Fleming will speak Thursday, October 20th at 6:30 PM at the Joslin Library.
Malayaka House is an ‘uncommon orphanage’ that is striving to be self-reliant within the next three years through in-house businesses, including a pizza restaurant, culinary institute, an IT Department, Safari Tours, Bobo’s Coffee, a permaculture farm system and fish hatchery, and more. Fleming will discuss the founding of the organization, its unique structure, and answer questions.
