By now you should have received your mailing for the fall harvest dinner on Saturday Nov. 2nd at 5:30 p.m. in the Rumney gym. This great benefit dinner supports the local foods program at Rumney AND the Middlesex Food Shelf. Much of our success comes from our fabulous silent auction! We already have some great offerings--a gift certificate to Sarducis, hand made pot holders from an eager 4th grader, and Duane Sorrell just dropped by with a handful of certificates toward snow tire mounting and balancing, and state inspections. In addition, Paul, our fantastic new custodian at Rumney, has generously offered 5 hours of carpentry/handyman services to a lucky bidder! These are just a few of the great things available at the silent auction the night of the dinner.
