An Outdoor Winter Clothing Give-Away will take place at the Calais-Woodbury United Church (the big white church in South Woodbury) on Saturday, November 12th from 9 a.m.—1 p.m. The church is accepting donations throughout the month of October for this annual event which helps clothe many of our neighbors. Anyone is eligible to come and receive donations on the day of the event.

There are no income guidelines; this is simply a re-distribution of much needed winter supplies within our community.

Acceptable donations include new or used outdoor winter clothes, such as coats, jackets, snow– or ski– pants, mittens, gloves, hats, scarves or boots along with sweaters and sweatshirts. Please no soiled clothing.

Donations can be dropped off in October on the covered side porch of the South Woodbury Church building (go through the fenced in play yard); or bring them inside on Fri., Nov. 11th from 5 - 7 p.m. Call 456-8161 or email marypell@yahoo.com to arrange for a pick up.
