Champlain Valley Quilt Guild’s 31st Annual Quilt Show: Inspired By Color

SHELBURNE, VT – October 5, 2013, The CVQG annual quilt show, a long-standing autumn tradition, will take place on Saturday, October 19 from 10 to 5, and Sunday, October 20 from 10 to 4. This year’s show is again being held at The Fieldhouse at Shelburne Health & Fitness’s facility on Athletic Drive, and admission is $6.00 per person.

The show will have the theme ‘Inspired By Color’ and will include a special Theme Quilt Competition. All entries will be exhibited at the show, along with several special exhibits: a sampling of quilts from member Anne Standish and her students, Sue McGuire’s Friendship Quilts, and Andre Emmell’s Quilts of Valor.

As always, there will be a spectacular display of quilts, a merchants’ mall, a basket raffle, a quilt raffle, handmade crafts, and demonstrations. Lunch and refreshments will also be available. For additional information, please see the Champlain Valley Quilt Guild’s webpage at www.cvqgvt.org
