We are running a Bike Harvest for Bike Recycle Vermont to support their work to create access to bikes for Vermonters (http://bikerecyclevermont.org/about-0 ).
In fact, Pierre has been a regular volunteer bike mechanic at BRV for 8 years, refurbishing donated bikes with donated parts and accessories for clients with demonstrated need.
All donations are tax deductible. Bikes need to be in relatively good condition. Bike parts or bike accessories are also accepted.
Our first harvest will be outside of Fit Werx, 4312 Main St., Waitsfield, on Saturday, October 15, from noon to 1 pm. We will be there to collect bikes and bike parts, or to answer your questions. You can also contact us by responding to this post or calling 496-3764, if you’d like to make other arrangements with us for bike pick up.
