Preview of City Council Meeting

Past event
Oct 17, 2016, 7 to 8:30 PM

Dear Neighbors,

This coming Monday, the City Council will convene its first of two meetings for the month of October in Contois Auditorium in City Hall.

We will begin our evening with a special Council worksession on Burlngton Telecom. We will be getting a status report from David Provost, the chair of the Burlington Telecom Advisory Board and Terry Dorman, our consultant from Dorman and Fawcett, on the selling/recruiting a partner for Burlington Telecom. An executive session is expected.

We will then move upstairs from Conference Room 12 to Contois Auditorium at 7pm for a very brief Local Control Commission meeting immediately followed by the Council meeting. There is one item on our deliberative agenda. We will have a presentation and update from Chapin Spencer, Director of Public Works, on the North Avenue Pilot project.

As with all Council meetings, please keep in mind that you are always welcome to come and speak to the Council on any subject you wish during our Public Forum which begins at 7:30pm. Clickable agenda items can be found on the City's website: https://www.boarddocs.com/vt/burlingtonvt/Board.nsf/Public All Council meetings are televised live on BT Channel 317 and streamed live to your computer or phone.

As always, I welcome your questions and concerns. Please be in touch over the weekend and on Monday.

My best,
Karen
